Eye-catching nodding , blue bell-shaped flowers in summer.  This is an unusual clematis, not a climber, that sends up wiry stems that lean into adjacent plants. It grows in sun to part shade, in fertile well-drained soil with regular water.  Ours is a smaller form than the species and grows less than 18" tall and wide.   Zones 3-7.
