Cushion forming, dwarf, evergreen perennial 2” X 8” with pink, rarely white, flowers in summer.  

Sun to part shade, gritty, sharply drained soil.   Hardy to –30 degrees F.  

Arctic-alpine with a circumpolar distribution. Caryophyllaceae

  Sun or part shade in sharply-drained soil. Our plants are from seed originally collected in the Oregon Cascades, the species is found througout the Western US   Hardy to -10 degrees F Caryophyllaceae
