This member of the rose family forms a small mat of blue-green leaves with small yellow flowers followed by red seed capsules. 2 x 6". Does best in sun to part shade in fertile, well drained soil with moderate water. Hardy to -30 degrees F. Found in moist, rocky areas in the mountains of the Northern Hemisphere. Rosaceae
