Evergreen shrub up to 5' high and wide with woody stems, narrow, aromatic linear leaves and pale blue flowers.  Grow in sun in well drained, poor to moderately fertile soil with low water.  Native to the Mediterrenean.  Hardy to 10 degrees F. Lamiaceae

Occurs in a variety of growth forms including upright, rounded and prostrate, with many named cultivars.
