  Absolutely Fabulous!

Deciduous perennial with finely cut leaves to 10” high. Large purple flowers in spring followed by ornamental seed heads.   Grow in full to part sun, very well drained, infertile soil.   Dislikes root disturbances.   Use in rock gardens, scree beds, raised beds.  Meadows and grassy areas in the European Alps. Hardy to -20 degrees F. Ranunculaceae

  Pasque Flower

Pulsatilla vulgaris 'Heiler Hybrid' has flowers in a variety of colors including various shades of red, white, lavender and purple in spring followed by ornamental seed heads.   Grow in full to part sun, very well drained, infertile soil.   Dislikes root disturbances.   Use in rock gardens, scree beds, raised beds.  Meadows and grassy areas in the European Alps.   Pasque Flower

This cultivar has interesting fringed flowers that occur in assorted colors in spring followed by ornamental seed heads. Deciduous perennial with finely cut leaves. 12”x12”. Sun, well-drained soil. Hardy to –20 degrees F. Ranunculaceae

 

This is a seed grown cultivar and some flowers exhibit more fringe than others.
