Evergreen subshrub 16 x-24” with shiny green, serrated leaves and spikes of white flowers in summer. Sun to part shade, well-drained soil, mod. water.  10 degrees F New Zealand.  Scophulariaceae

Digger's Speedwell

Glaucous gray-green leaves that grow in pairs along thick stems topped by racemes of violet-blue flowers in early summer.  Grow in sun to part shade in poor to moderately fertile, well drained soil.  Poor to moderately fertile soil in full to part sun.  Drought tolerant once established.  30 x 30" Hardy to -10 degrees F. Native to the mountains of New Zealand.  Scrophulariaceae
