A sprawling annual with thick, almost succulent leaves and very attractive trumpet shaped blue flowers that look much like morning glories. In fact, some botanists place it in the the same family, Solanaceae. It grows up to 6” high and 18” or more wide. Grow in sun to part shade in well-drained soil with low water. May self sow. From the coastal deserts of Northern Chile where it can be found growing in masses with other wildflowers on cliffs above the sea. Nolanaceae
