This alpine plant catches the eye of almost every nursery visitor. It has small silver-gray leaves on erect stems. After four years in cultivation we have yet to see its white daisylike flowers. Perhaps this year. It has increased slowly to a size of about 5”tall x 6” wide. We have had good luck growing it in a trough with sharp soil and regular water in a cool sunny location. It has done fine in the cold months when temperatures have dropped into the teens. Asteraceaee
Update: After 4 years, we have full bloom! Take a look.
