Umpqua Drainage Population

Evergreen shrub with small, gray-green leaves and fragrant pink flowers in spring and perhaps again in summer. Slow growing up to 1 x 2 ft. Grow in sun to part shade in acidic, very well drained soil. Rare endemic of two limited geographic areas in Southern Oregon where it is found on rocky slopes. Hardy to -10 degrees F. Ericaceae
