Compact, mounding evergreen grass with panicles of violet flowers in late summer.  6” high X up to 10” wide.  Grow in sun in very well-drained soil. This is an attractive, compact grass that works well in containers or small-scale rock gardens.  Hardy to –10 degrees F. Native to the Pyrenees Mountains.  Gramineae
