Eriogonum
Buckwheats are a large group of variable plants found in dry areas of Western North America. They have attractive, often fuzzy, foliage, produce long lasting blooms and are attractive groundcovers in the dry summer garden. They require very well drained soil and and some don't do well in sodden winter conditions. The smaller species make good trough plants. |
