DRABA
Many are great in troughs, crevices or small-scale rock gardens, forming nice evergreen cushions with lots of early season flowers. When grown in a container, they don't like it too wet or too dry and benefit from a little fertilizer now and then to look their best. |

Draba Rock Garden Mix
|
| |
| This
group of Draba sp was grown from a commercial seed mix.
Although many look like D. aizoides, there is quite a variety.
They are all small cushion forming perennials with racemes of bright
yellow flowers in early spring. They are one of our earliest bloomers
and make quite a show. Grow in full sun in gritty, sharply drained
soil. Top dress with grit. Nice addition to troughs, alpines frames
and small-scale rock gardens. Zones 4-6. Brassicaceae
