Rosettes of light green leaves with spikes of pink reflexed flowers with yellow tubes, purple at base in spring.  12" x 6" Grow in sun to part shade in humus rich soil.  Keep moist from fall to spring season, drier during summer dormancy.     Hardy to - 0 degrees F.  Grassy hillside slopes in California  Primulaceae
