This Iris relative is an unusual bulbous perennial that forms a clump of narrow, pleated leaves to 18" high and produces many three-petaled, golden flowers over a long season.    Grow in sun in well-drained, moderately fertile soil with regular water.  Reported to be hardy to about 5 degrees F.  South American native.   Iridaceae
