Native to Arid Western North America. Fabaceae

Gray pinnate leaves, white flowers in summer, balloonlike, red spotted pods. 2 x 8”  Sun, very well-drained soil, low water.  Hardy to -30 degrees F. Endemic to Steens Mountain, Oregon.  Fabaceae
