Western US native to 3 feet high with thick stalks of gray-green leaves and rose colored flowerheads in spring to summer.   Host plant for the Monarch Butterfly.  Full to part sun, very well-drained soil. Hardy to -40 degrees F.    Asclepiadadeae

A vigorous, spreading plants that can reach up to 6' in height. It has thick, light green leaves and clusters of fragrant, pinkish-purple flowers in late spring to summer.  Sun, very well-drained soil. Drought tolerant.  Native to the Eastern US.  Hardy to -30 degrees F.    Asclepiadadeae
