Succulent rosettes and bright pink flowers in late spring to early summer that open on sunny days. It grows to 3" high .   Grow in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil with low water. Native to South Africa .  Portulacaceae

This plant is hardier than we originally thought and we overwinter it in a cool greenhouse that typically reaches the mid 20's.  Locals report being able to grow them outdoors year-round (Zone 8)   We'll try it next winter and report back.
