This excellent trailing, evergreen groundcover 2" high x 8” wide has abundant red-violet flowers from June thru Oct.  Grow in full sun in gritty, well drained soil with occaisional water.  Use in rock gardens, raised beds, or containers. May self sow. Native to rocky hillsides of Southern and Central Europe.  Zones 4-9.   Lamiaceae
