Welcome

Wild Ginger Farm is a specialty nursery located near Portland, Oregon.  We grow hundreds of compact perennials from around the world, offering the adventurous gardener a diverse selection of interesting and uncommon plants.

The 2008 online Mail Order Catalog is available.  We ship year-round to West Coast locations, as weather conditions permit.  We ship to other U.S. locations beginning in mid-March through October.  Our online catalog is updated frequently throughout the season, so come back often to check out new listings and updated availability information.  For environmental reasons, we do not publish a mail order catalog.

Feel free to browse our comprehensive Plant List for detailed information and photographs of plants grown at the nursery.

We welcome visitors to our Nursery and we can also be found at a number of events throughout the year.  Check out our Calendar for our schedule of events as well as Nursery Hours.

Our Specialties Include:

Dryland Plants - Drought tolerant plants from Asia,

Africa, the Mediterranean & North America.
